Michaelah Ward

Hola¡ My name is Michaelah Ward. I studied abroad in Valencia, Spain with UF in Valencia as a rising Junior in Summer B 2022. My program granted students with the opportunity to truly immerse themselves in Spain's culture by living with host families, attending school at la Universitat de València, and by eating delicious Spanish meals such as paella and bocadillos. Studying abroad in Spain exceeded my expectations. Although the weather and transportation in this new country was a big adjustment for me, the people in this new environment were very nice and welcoming, especially with the language barrier, which forced me to improve my Spanish speaking skills and discover things about myself and the amazing new people that I met on this trip. If I could, I would re-do this experience 10 times over again!
