Hello! My name is Mallory Tyler and I am a second year Data Science major, Education Studies minor, and taking coursework in beekeeping. I studied abroad for the Summer A term in 2023, and enjoyed every moment of the experience. I started at UF as an exploratory student, unsure of what I wanted to major in. I chose Data Science because of my love of mathematics, statistics, and computer programming. Studying the origins of statistics in England made me more confident in my major of choice. We traveled to many amazing places, such as Bletchley Park (home of the WWII codebreakers), Rothamsted Agricultural Research Station, and the Florence Nightingale Museum. My study abroad was the first time I had left the country, and the experience was unforgettable. I would recommend study abroad to everyone! I hope to travel to many other countries and I am hoping to study abroad again in the Summer 2024 in Thailand for beekeeping.
