Maddy McDonald

Hi! My name is Maddy McDonald! I studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland, in Spring 2023 my junior year. My program was a UF exchange at Trinity College Dublin. I took a mix of literature and history classes on campus with other exchange and Trinity students, and the experience was surreal! I met so many lovely people - the Irish are the nicest people you’ll ever meet - and got to experience so many beautiful cultures. I was lucky to travel around Europe during the semester, but my favorite part always was coming back to Dublin. Although it was a big jump, studying abroad was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and I’d urge everyone to do it!
