Juliana Bonavita

Hi! My name is Juliana (she/her), and I studied abroad in Italy with the UF in Italy: Food Production to Consumption and UF in Sorrento: Mediterranean Culture and Internship programs in the summer between my sophomore and junior year (summer 2022). My programs were great for me because I speak Italian, I wanted an international internship, and I love Italian food! Through my study abroad programs I increased my fluency and connected to my heritage and made amazing memories and lifelong friends! Going into study abroad, I was unsure about what I wanted to do after graduation. The excursions, programs, and internship I did while in Italy helped me solidify what I want to do in the future. I am forever grateful to my Italian summer as it helped shape me into the person I am today.
