Ciao! My name is Dante Picchiello, and I studied abroad in Italy with the UF in Florence-Global Perspectives program during the summer of my sophomore year(Summer 2022). The UF in Florence program allowed me to learn about my Italian heritage and immerse in Italian culture. While studying abroad, I formed amazing lifelong friendships with students and locals alike. Nothing beats the experience of watching the Tuscan sunset with your friends or eating copious amounts of gelato. I am forever thankful for the countless memories and friends I made abroad, and I will never forget my study abroad experience!Â
