Hi there! I studied abroad twice during my time at UF and those experiences completely changed what I wanted to do with my life. I joined SAPA, worked at UFIC as a Student Assistant, and was headed to Guatemala to serve in the Peace Corps....*cue Covid*
I pivoted and earned my Master's in International Business which led me to stay in Gainesville and pursue a full time career as a Study Abroad Advisor at UF. I love getting to help students navigate the study abroad process and find the perfect program for them. I've also gone on site visits to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and the UK! I genuinely loved each city that I visited, but Copenhagen was probably my favorite :)
If you are interested in pursuing a career in the field of international education, I'm happy to offer advice! There are so many niches in the field, there's something for everyone with a love for internationalization!
