Mandy Gibbs

Hi! My name is Mandy Gibbs (she/her) and I studied abroad on the Semester at Sea program during my junior year for the Spring 2022 semester. As a sociology major I love learning about patterns of human social behaviors, interactions, and societal customs and differences. The Semester at Sea program was perfect for me because I had the opportunity to observe and experience these societal differences in 13 amazing countries! Semester at Sea is a really unique experience that you truly can’t get from any other program. Some of my favorite memories are just of traveling with new people at every port, having breakfast with my professors, and just spending everyday waking up and going to bed with the stunning open ocean views.
